Crystal units is an offical licensed manufacturer of Structural Double glazed Units for Schuco Systems FW50+ and FW60+

Glazing components can be applied to suit indivdual projects, these can include:

  • Tempered or heat strengthened glass
  • Laminated glass
  • Performance solar control glass
  • Low E glass
  • Acoustic Glass
  • Spandrel

All manufacturing is carried out in accordance with the most up-to-date industry regulations. Product warranty's are 'offered to each project in conjunction with Schuco and sealant supplier.

FW50+ Facade is based on the tried and tested FW50+ facade system. Special insert units and details mean that it can be used as a structural glazing facade with an inner face width of 50mm.
 
 
 

External sealing for the FW50+ Facade system may take the form of dry glazing and U-shaped silicone gasket (shadow joint) or wet glazing silicone (flush with glass pane).

For faceted construction facades or facades combines with vertical or horizontal pressure plates and cover caps - wet glazing must be used for external sealing.

Advantages
 
  • The load-bearing structure consists of mullion and transom profiles with different basic depths, which can be combine to meet structural or visual requirements. The glass edge cover is 15mm.
  • The mullion and transom profile drainahe channels ensure secure glazing rebates at all times and drain off any condensation.
